Set in the world of ‘The Boys’, ‘Gen V’ follows a new class of young supes at Godolkin University, a Vought-run college where students train to become the next generation of branded heroes. The story centers on Marie Moreau (Jaz Sinclair), whose blood-manipulation powers make her a fast-rising contender, alongside Andre Anderson (Chance Perdomo), Jordan Li (London Thor and Derek Luh), Emma Meyer a.k.a. Little Cricket (Lizze Broadway), and Cate Dunlap (Maddie Phillips); early events also involve campus golden boy Luke “Golden Boy” Riordan (Patrick Schwarzenegger) and the discovery of a disturbing research program tied to the school. It’s on this week’s schedule for Wednesday, September 17.

Developed by Craig Rosenberg, Evan Goldberg, and Eric Kripke and based on Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s comic ‘The Boys’, the series is overseen in its first season by showrunner Michele Fazekas. ‘Gen V’ is produced by Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television in association with Kripke Enterprises, Point Grey Pictures, and Original Film; recurring and guest roles include Shelley Conn as Dean Indira Shetty, Clancy Brown as Professor Richard “Brink” Brinkerhoff, Sean Patrick Thomas as Polarity, and appearances from characters and personnel linked to ‘The Boys’, connecting storylines and organizations across both series.

The third film in the franchise reunites Poppy and Branch as they chase down Branch’s long-lost boy-band past: when his brother Floyd is kidnapped by pop duo Velvet and Veneer, the pair set out to reassemble BroZone and hit the “Perfect Family Harmony” needed to free him. Voice roles include Anna Kendrick as Poppy, Justin Timberlake as Branch, Troye Sivan as Floyd, Amy Schumer as Velvet, and Andrew Rannells as Veneer, with additional voices by Eric André, Daveed Diggs, Kid Cudi, Camila Cabello, and more; it arrives on Friday, September 19, 2025.

Directed by Walt Dohrn (with Tim Heitz as co-director), written by Elizabeth Tippet, and produced by Gina Shay for DreamWorks Animation, the film runs 91 minutes with music by Theodore Shapiro. It follows 2016’s ‘Trolls’ and 2020’s ‘Trolls World Tour’ and continues the series’ pop-heavy, family-adventure formula.

Fernando Colomo writes, directs, and stars as Fermín, a veteran abstract painter who enters a competition to reinterpret Bosch’s ‘The Garden of Earthly Delights,’ sparking a comic, messy collaboration with his son Pablo, also a painter. The cast features Fernando Colomo, Pablo Colomo, Carmen Machi, Antonio Resines, María Hervás, Luis Bermejo, and Brays Efe; it’s scheduled for Friday, September 19, 2025.

Shot in Madrid with cinematography by José Luis Alcaine and music by Fernando Furones, the film is produced by Comba Films and Telespan 2000 with participation from Prime Video and distribution in Spain by Vértice 360. It is also programmed in San Sebastián’s Made in Spain section during the 73rd edition.

This action-comedy centers on Marvin Gable, a former hitman turned realtor whose quiet new life detonates when he reconnects with his old partner and learns a vengeful family member is on his trail. Set on England’s coastline, this short drama follows a teenage girl who witnesses her father’s cruelty toward a newly arrived migrant, pushing her to confront where she stands and who she wants to be. The principal cast includes Arthur Darvill as Toby, Kiera Thompson as Iris, Nojan Khazai as Reza, and Arnika Hashemi Nasab as Ari; it’s dated for Friday, September 19, 2025.

Written and directed by Abolfazl Talooni, the UK production runs approximately 15 minutes and blends English and Persian dialogue. The project has been showcased in connection with the Prime Video Directors Workshop through the National Film and Television School in the UK.
