October is stacked with Apple TV+ premieres across fantasy, thrillers, documentaries and returning comedies. From fairy-tale sleuths to Alaskan lawmen, globe-trotting Michelin hunts to a definitive portrait of one of cinema’s greats, there’s plenty landing in quick succession all month long.

Based on Michael Buckley’s bestselling books, this animated kids & family series follows orphaned sisters Sabrina and Daphne as they navigate Ferryport Landing, a town populated by fairy-tale heroes and villains while searching for their missing parents. Apple TV+ lists the voice cast with Ariel Winter as Sabrina, Laraine Newman as Relda, Abubakar Salim as Charming and Billy Harris as Puck. It’s coming on October 3.

The series is developed by showrunner Amy Higgins, with Buckley and Elliot Blake among the writers and executive producers. Positioned as a blend of discovery, fantasy and adventure for all ages, it maintains the book’s detective-style casework structure while introducing new stories tailored for television.

Set in the Alaskan wilderness, this action-thriller centers on lone U.S. Marshal Frank Remnick after a prison transport plane crashes and releases violent inmates into the remote region. Jason Clarke stars as Remnick, with Haley Bennett as Sidney Scofield and Dominic Cooper as Levi Hartman; Simone Kessell, Dallas Goldtooth, Tait Blum and Alfre Woodard round out the main cast. It premieres on October 10.

Created by Jon Bokenkamp and Richard D’Ovidio, who serve as executive producers alongside Laura Benson and Glenn Kessler, the series is produced by Apple Studios and partners in the U.S. and Canada. Expect a survival-meets-siege narrative as Remnick protects the town he’s sworn to defend while tracking fugitives across unforgiving terrain.

This eight-part documentary goes inside the secretive world of the Michelin Guide as chefs chase first, second or even third stars. Hosted by food expert and TopJaw co-founder Jesse Burgess, it features rare on-the-record access to Michelin’s anonymous inspectors and kitchens across New York, Chicago, the Nordics, the U.K., Mexico, Italy and California. It debuts on October 10.

Executive produced by Gordon Ramsay and produced by Studio Ramsay Global, episodes spotlight restaurants including Coqodaq, The Musket Room, Nōksu (New York); Cariño, Esmé, Feld (Chicago); Aure, Jordnær, Knystaforsen (Nordics); Caractère, House, Wilsons (U.K.); Em, Máximo (Mexico); Agriturismo Ferdy, Kresios (Italy); and Harbor House, Pasjoli, Pasta|Bar (California). The series documents the pressure, craft and stakes behind the industry’s most coveted accolade.

Maya Rudolph returns as Molly Wells, the ultra-wealthy divorcée steering the Wells Foundation while navigating personal upheavals with her team. The ensemble includes Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Nat Faxon, Ron Funches and Joel Kim Booster, with season-specific guest appearances teased for this run. The new season arrives on October 15.

Created by Matt Hubbard and Alan Yang, who executive produce with Rudolph and others, the show continues its workplace-comedy rhythm and relationship arcs as Molly follows through on her vow to give away her fortune. Season three picks up after last season’s cliffhanger involving Molly’s escape aboard her jet with assistant Nicholas, complicating dynamics with foundation colleagues and would-be romance Arthur.

A five-part documentary event, this series offers an intimate portrait of Martin Scorsese’s life and career through extensive conversations with the filmmaker and unparalleled access to his private archives. Interviews include longtime collaborators and admirers such as Robert De Niro, Leonardo DiCaprio, Daniel Day-Lewis, Steven Spielberg, Jodie Foster, Thelma Schoonmaker, Margot Robbie, Cate Blanchett and more. It premieres on October 17.

Directed by Rebecca Miller, with Miller among the executive producers, the project traces Scorsese’s artistic evolution from NYU student films to the present day. The episodes examine recurring themes—faith, morality, guilt, violence and redemption—while mapping how personal history shaped a body of work that redefined modern cinema.

Adapted from Mick Herron’s novel in the “Zoë Boehm” series, this thriller begins when a house explodes in a quiet Oxford suburb and a girl vanishes. Ruth Wilson plays neighbor Sarah Trafford, who becomes obsessed with the case and teams with private investigator Zoë Boehm, played by Emma Thompson. As their search deepens, a wider conspiracy surfaces linking the disappearance to long-buried secrets. It launches on October 29.

The series is written by Morwenna Banks, who also serves as executive producer alongside Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Tom Nash, Thompson and Herron; the lead director is Natalie Bailey. Produced by 60Forty Films, the ensemble also features Adeel Akhtar, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Tom Goodman-Hill, Darren Boyd, Tom Riley, Adam Godley, Sinead Matthews, Ken Nwosu, Fehinti Balogun and Aiysha Hart.
