‘Fallout’ Season 2 First Look Images Take Fans to New Vegas with Walton Goggins

Fans just got their new look at Fallout season two thanks to new images that have been released. The hit Prime Video series from Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films is officially coming back in December 2025, and this time the story is heading to New Vegas.

Season two will follow the aftermath of the season one finale and take fans through the Mojave desert all the way to the ruins of New Vegas. This location has been one of the most requested by fans, especially those who loved Fallout: New Vegas. The new images give us a peek at Walton Goggins in a flashback, Ella Purnell’s Lucy, and more as the story sets up for a bigger adventure.

The cast returning for season two includes Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, and Frances Turner. Rafi Silver has been confirmed as Robert House, a powerful figure from the games. The season will also bring in new characters, like a “crazy genius” played by Macaulay Culkin and a high-ranking Brotherhood of Steel leader played by Kumail Nanjiani.

Co-showrunner Graham Wagner also revealed that deathclaws, one of the most feared creatures in the Fallout universe, will finally appear in season two. He explained why they were saved for later, saying, “We wanted to do it properly.”

Fallout premiered on April 10, 2024, and quickly became a hit with fans and critics alike. Viewers praised its cast, especially Purnell, Moten, and Goggins, as well as its style and accuracy to the games.

By the end of that month, Prime Video had already renewed the show for a second season, and by May 2025, a third season was officially confirmed before the second even aired. The series also earned 17 Emmy nominations, including one for Outstanding Drama Series and a Best Actor nod for Goggins.

The new season promises more action, more danger, and the long-awaited reveal of New Vegas. With returning characters, new faces, and the addition of deathclaws, it’s shaping up to be bigger than the first. The newly released images are only the beginning of the hype as fans count down to December.
