‘Fightland’ Episode 4 Release Date & Time: When ‘Protect Yourself at All Times’ Airs

Starz has been building serious momentum with its new boxing crime drama this summer, and ‘Fightland‘ has quickly become one of the network’s most talked-about original series. Created by Daniel Fajemisin-Duncan, Marlon Smith, Damione Macedon, and Raphael Jackson Jr., the show follows disgraced heavyweight champion Duke Kilroy as he returns to London seeking revenge against the crime family he believes betrayed him.

Since premiering on July 31, the series has stuck to a strict Friday release pattern, giving fans a full week to process each escalating twist in Duke’s story. With three episodes now behind it, the show has established Duke’s return from an eight-year prison sentence and his growing conflict with former promoter Kingsley Marshall, all while introducing the London criminal network standing between him and the man he holds responsible for his brother’s death.

Episode 4, titled “Protect Yourself at All Times,” is scheduled to release on Friday, August 21. Following the pattern set since the premiere, new episodes of ‘Fightland’ become available on the Starz streaming service at 12 a.m. ET, meaning East Coast viewers can expect the episode right at midnight, while the release effectively covers the rest of the country by early morning.

That timing has remained consistent throughout the season so far, with the series also airing traditionally on the Starz cable channel at 8 p.m. ET/PT alongside its streaming release. Most episodes run between 50 and 60 minutes, giving the story plenty of room to develop both Duke’s personal arc and the wider criminal underworld surrounding him.

‘Fightland’ consists of eight episodes total, with the remaining installments mapped out through late September. Episode 5, “Kingsley,” follows on August 28, before the season continues with episode six, “There Is a War Coming,” on September 4, and episode seven, “Without Me, There Is No You,” on September 11.

The season finale, titled “You Won’t See Me Coming,” is set to close things out on September 25. Outside the United States, UK viewers are on a slightly delayed schedule, with ‘Fightland’ set to premiere on Sky Atlantic on August 27, roughly a month behind its Starz debut.

Executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has been vocal about what sets this project apart from his previous television work. In a statement released by Starz, Jackson said ‘Fightland’ marks the first internationally produced show through his G-Unit Film & Television banner, adding that he expects the project to surpass anything he has done before given boxing’s inherently high stakes.

Starz President of Original Programming Kathryn Busby echoed that confidence, describing ‘Fightland’ as the kind of unapologetically visceral, premium storytelling the network has built its reputation on. Between Howard Charles’ lead performance as Duke and a supporting cast that includes Deborah Ayorinde, Nicholas Pinnock, and Charles Babalola, the series has leaned fully into that blend of physical intensity and character-driven drama.

With five episodes still to come before the finale, ‘Fightland’ shows no signs of slowing its momentum as Duke’s search for vengeance pulls him deeper into London’s criminal underworld.
