Final Episodes of Taylor Swift’s ‘The End of an Era’ Get New Release Date
Taylor Swift has shared new details about when fans can watch the final episodes of her documentary series, The End of an Era. The singer revealed the updated schedule during a Thursday morning appearance on Good Morning America. According to Swift, the release plan has changed and the remaining episodes will arrive earlier than first announced.
Disney+ will release episodes three and four on Friday, December 19. The final two episodes will now be available on December 23 instead of December 26. Disney+ confirmed the update online and called it a special surprise for fans. “As an early gift to fans around the world, the final two episodes will premiere early on December 23 at 12am PT,” the streaming service shared on social media.

The documentary looks back at Swift’s record-setting Eras Tour. The first two episodes debuted on December 12, just ahead of her birthday. The series follows the tour’s final stretch and shows what life was like behind the scenes, from rehearsals to emotional moments shared by the people who helped make the tour happen.
Viewers were introduced to longtime members of Swift’s band and dance team in the opening episodes, including bassist Amos Heller. Swift also spoke about the difficult decision to cancel several shows in Vienna after a planned attack was stopped. During the episode, she became emotional and said her team “dodged a massacre.”
Other moments from the documentary included time spent with Ed Sheeran during a casual music session, Florence Welch getting ready for a surprise performance of “Florida!!!,” and lead dancer Kameron Saunders talking about facing discrimination and what the tour meant to him personally.
Swift also praised the directors of the project at a recent screening. “The directors [Don Argott and Sheena M. Joyce] expanded upon the stories of not just me, but everyone who was part of this,” she said. “There was a lot of magic and mystery that happens when something goes as well as this did.” The comments were shared during a public event earlier this month.
