DC and Prime Video are giving fans a fresh look at Gotham with their upcoming Batman series, and the first official key art has just dropped ahead of New York Comic Con.

The new show promises a lighter, more playful tone than previous Batman projects, blending charm with action in the world of the Bat-Family.

The key art reveals Batman soaring over the Gotham skyline in the Batwing alongside several familiar and new faces.

Fans can spot Man-Bat, Ra’s al Ghul, Alfred Pennyworth, and Damian Wayne. Alfred’s grandniece Alicia is also featured, along with Selina, the family cat, who adds a touch of whimsy. Damian appears to be hanging on for dear life, showing the series’ playful energy.

The art also introduces Claire, a recently reformed villain who goes by the name Volcano. She has joined Wayne Manor and acts as a sarcastic big sister to Damian. According to the description released with the artwork, she adds humor and heart to the Bat-Fam dynamic.

Attendees at New York Comic Con will get even more details, including a sneak peek screening and behind-the-scenes stories from executive producer and showrunner Mike Roth. The panel will also feature voice actors Bobby Moynihan (Man-Bat), London Hughes (Alicia Pennyworth), and Yonas Kibreab (Damian Wayne/Little Batman) answering questions from fans.

This first look makes it clear that the new Batman series will mix superhero action with humor and family moments. It’s shaping up to be a fun, stylish take on Gotham for both longtime fans and newcomers.
