Netflix has released the first teaser for its upcoming series The Seven Dials Mystery, adapted from Agatha Christie’s 1929 novel.

The show is written by Chris Chibnall and features a star-studded cast, including Mia McKenna-Bruce, Helena Bonham Carter, and Martin Freeman.

The story follows Lady Bundle Brent, played by Mia McKenna-Bruce, and a mix of intriguing characters. Helena Bonham Carter takes on the role of Lady Caterham, while Martin Freeman plays Superintendent Battle.

Other cast members include Edward Bluemel as Jimmy Thesiger, Nyasha Hatendi as Dr. Cyril Matip, Corey Mylchreest, Guy Siner as Tredwell, and Alex Macqueen as George Lomax.

According to Netflix, the series was first announced in April 2024 and will be the first production by Orchid Pictures. By June, the lead cast members were revealed, and Edward Bluemel joined in July. Filming took place over the summer of 2024 in several locations, including Bristol and Bath in the UK, and Ronda in Spain.

The new teaser offers viewers a first look at the series’ suspenseful and mysterious tone. Fans can expect the show to premiere on January 15.

This adaptation of Christie’s classic promises a mix of mystery, drama, and a strong cast bringing the story to life.
