Florence Pugh Reveals Her Dream Avengers Lineup

Florence Pugh is enjoying the spotlight after the release of Thunderbolts*, or rather, New Avengers, as the movie is now being branded. As the new Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Pugh has taken over from Scarlett Johansson, and with several projects lined up, it’s clear that the MCU has big plans for her character.

Throughout Thunderbolts*, Pugh’s Yelena Belova proved she has what it takes to be the heroic leader of an entire team. However, the film’s final moments reveal that she isn’t quite ready to leave her darker side behind.

In a memorable scene, Yelena whispers, “We own you now,” to Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, while presenting the latest lineup of Avengers, or rather, the New Avengers. This new team includes Bucky Barnes, John Walker, Bob, Red Guardian, and Ava Starr, signaling an intriguing new chapter for Yelena and her crew.

With Pugh at the forefront, the future looks promising, and a bit unpredictable.

Pugh recently talked to IMAX’s team and was asked who would be in her team if she was in charge of putting together an Avengers team:

“Bucky has to be in” Pugh said “because he’s just pretty good at everything. And also like, the fans love him. Natasha, sister duo, I feel like that…it was so fun. I would love to do that again”

Pugh also said she would pick the Jade Giant:“The Hulk has always interested me, I just love that rage. It’s great.“

The actress would also love to put Spider-Man in her team, since she would “love to do some swinging.“

Pugh did not get the opportunity to put together her current team, but it sure did lead to one interesting movie. Thunderbolts* is currently playing in theaters worldwide.
