Former Child Actor Tackles Burglar Outside His Home and Holds Him Until Police Arrive

Dylan Sprouse stopped a suspected intruder outside his Los Angeles home and held him until police arrived, according to reports from the Los Angeles Times and TMZ.

The incident happened shortly after midnight on April 17 at the home he shares with his wife, model Barbara Palvin. Police were called after Palvin reportedly spotted a man on the property and described him as a “creepy guy,” according to sources cited in the reports.

While Palvin made the emergency call, Sprouse physically confronted the man outside the residence. Reports say he tackled the suspect to the ground and restrained him at gunpoint until officers arrived at the scene.

The suspect never entered the house itself. He only made it onto the property before being stopped. Authorities later confirmed that no one was injured during the confrontation.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the man was taken into custody after it was discovered he had outstanding warrants. Video obtained by TMZ also showed the suspect being handcuffed near a police vehicle outside the property’s fence. The home reportedly had visible “No Trespassing” signage.

Sources also told TMZ that despite the arrest, Sprouse and Palvin did not want the man to be charged specifically for trespassing.

Representatives for both Sprouse and Palvin have not made public comments about the incident.

Sprouse, known for his early acting career as a child star, has been living privately with Palvin in Los Angeles. The couple got married in 2023 after several years together, having first met in 2017.

From the available reports, the situation ended without injuries, but it highlights how quickly security concerns can escalate even at private homes in celebrity neighborhoods.
