Former WWE Tag Team Champion Dies, Cause of Death Confirmed
Bobby Horne, better known to wrestling fans as Bobby Mo, has passed away following a battle with a blood infection and pneumonia.
The news was shared by Book Pro Wrestlers and WWE Hall of Famer Leilani Kai on Facebook, asking fans to keep him in their thoughts and prayers.
“It breaks my heart to hear that Bobby Horne, better known to wrestling fans as Sir Mo of Men on a Mission, has passed away,” Leilani wrote. “… Rest in peace, my friend. Thank you for every laugh, every kind word, and every night we shared on the road. You’ll be missed by all of us who knew you.”
Horne had been struggling with health issues in recent years, including complications from a kidney transplant in 2018. He had spent the last couple of months in intensive care due to pneumonia and a blood infection.
Bobby Mo made a name for himself in the 1990s when he joined Vince McMahon’s World Wrestling Federation. He became known for teaming up with Mabel, also known as Viscera or Big Daddy V, in the tag team Men On A Mission. The duo won the WWE Tag Team Championship in 1994 but held the titles for only a short period.
After Mabel won the King of the Ring in 1995, Bobby adopted the name Sir Mo and continued to support his partner during his feud with The Undertaker. Men On A Mission left WWE in 1996, and Horne officially retired from professional wrestling in 2007.
Bobby Mo will be remembered for his contributions to wrestling and the joy he brought to fans and colleagues alike.
