The iconic house from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is finally on the market for the first time in nearly 50 years, and the price is turning heads. According to TMZ, the six-bedroom mansion is listed for just under $30 million.

Fans of the show will instantly recognize the white-fronted Georgian Colonial home, which served as the residence for Will Smith’s character and his on-screen family, including Alfonso Ribeiro and Tatyana Ali. The series aired on NBC from 1990 to 1996, giving viewers plenty of glimpses of the mansion’s exterior.

Despite its name, the property isn’t actually located in Bel Air. It sits on a 38,510-square-foot lot in Brentwood, Los Angeles, and features seven bathrooms across 10,000 square feet of living space.

The home has been in the hands of its current owner for 48 years, and real estate agents Josh and Matt Altman, along with Sasha Rahban of The Altman Brothers, confirmed to TMZ that the property will officially go up for sale at the end of January. A Netflix show is reportedly filming at the mansion ahead of the sale.

The house was built in 1937 and has long been a centerpiece of the show’s storylines, including the famous plotline where Will moves from West Philadelphia to live with his Uncle Phil and cousins. The surrounding Brentwood neighborhood has also drawn celebrity attention, with Judd Apatow recently selling the house next door.

It’s a rare opportunity for fans and luxury buyers alike to own a piece of TV history.

Listing the Fresh Prince house feels like the perfect mix of nostalgia and luxury real estate hype. Would you pay $30 million to own this iconic mansion, or is it just too much? Share your thoughts in the comments.
