More than a decade after it hit theaters, ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron‘ is still one of the most debated chapters of the MCU. It introduced Vision, pitted the team against a machine built by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner, and set up plenty of what came after.

For collectors, the film has also been something of a mixed bag. When Funko launched its original run of vinyl figures in April 2015, the lineup covered Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, Hawkeye, Vision and Ultron, along with a 6-inch Hulkbuster, but some key characters never made the cut.

Now that gap is finally being addressed. A new set of Funko Pop! figures from ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ is available for pre-order, with Ultron, Vision, Quicksilver and Iron Man all included. The line is part of Funko’s MCU Archives range, and the pre-orders went live on October 21 at 9 AM PT.

The four figures revisit the film’s most memorable players. Ultron gets a fresh sculpt, Iron Man returns, and Vision shows up holding Mjolnir, a nod to one of the movie’s most iconic moments. Funko’s own listings price the figures at $14.99 each.

The headline addition is Quicksilver, who had been missing from the original wave. For anyone building a complete shelf of the film’s cast, he is the figure that makes the pre-order worth it. The designs are also expected to reflect the finished film, whereas the 2015 versions were built on pre-release information.

Stock appears to be moving quickly. Funko’s listings reportedly flagged low availability soon after the pre-orders opened, which isn’t unusual for MCU Archives releases. Fans hoping to grab the Vision with Mjolnir in particular may want to move fast.

Beyond the nostalgia, there is a practical reason the timing makes sense. Vision and Ultron are back in the spotlight thanks to Marvel’s ‘VisionQuest’, and Funko has separate Vision and Ultron figures tied to that series as well.

The release lands during an especially crowded stretch for Marvel collectibles. ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ arrives in theaters on December 18, and Funko has already started releasing figures for the film, including multiple versions of Doctor Doom and characters like Shang-Chi, Namor and Gambit. There are also miniature Bitty Pop! figures for collectors who are running out of shelf space.

That means fans now have a choice between looking back and looking ahead. The ‘Age of Ultron’ wave scratches the nostalgia itch, while the ‘Doomsday’ line offers a first glimpse at the next big team-up.

‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ has always sparked mixed feelings among fans, but its place in the MCU is hard to deny. It brought in new heroes, expanded the team and delivered one of the franchise’s most quotable villains.

A fresh round of figures is a reminder that the film still has a loyal audience, even if it took more than a decade for Funko to deliver a collection that fills in the missing pieces.
