Gal Gadot is open to playing the Evil Queen again, but many people online are not thrilled about the idea.

The actress spoke with Us Weekly at the Women’s Guild Cedars-Sinai Snow Ball Gala in Beverly Hills, where she received the Hollywood Icon Award.

When asked if she would return to her Snow White role, she didn’t hesitate. She said she would “love” to do it and even added, “Tell Bob. Bob, I’ll do that,” referring to Disney CEO Bob Iger.

Her comments come months after Disney released its live-action version of Snow White. The movie, directed by Marc Webb and starring Rachel Zegler in the lead role, tried to reimagine the classic story.

Gadot played the Evil Queen in the film. Even before the movie hit theaters, it faced a lot of controversy, from the changes to the original story to political discussions involving the cast. After its release, the film struggled at the box office and ended up being labeled a major loss for Disney.

Because the movie had such a rough reception, talk of Gadot returning to the role did not go over well online.

Many fans made it clear they don’t want her back. Some of the reactions were harsh. One person wrote, “please put a TW next time u post her face pls ♥️” while another said, “more like gal gadot threatens to return as the evil queen.” Others added comments like “spin off movie for Disney worst ever live action disaster?” and “A sequel would definitely be an embarrassment.” There were also blunt reactions such as “Lmao your film bombed for a reason” and “WE DONT WANT HER SHES PROBLEMATIC AND USELESS.”

Right now, Disney has not said anything about making a spinoff or sequel. Gadot may be ready to return, but fans clearly have mixed feelings, or in many cases, no interest at all.
