Get Your Dice Ready: ‘The Mighty Nein’ Drops First Trailer at Comic-Con
Fans of Critical Role have their first look at The Mighty Nein, the new animated series based on the show’s second campaign.
Amazon Prime Video released the series’ first trailer during New York Comic-Con, building excitement for its debut on November 19th.
The show features familiar voices from the original Vox Machina campaign, including Matthew Mercer, Laura Bailey, Marisha Ray, Liam O’Brien, Ashley Johnson, Taliesin Jaffe, Sam Riegel, and Travis Willingham. While the story centers on a new group of characters, the humor and energy remain similar to the previous series.

The Mighty Nein cast also includes several high-profile guest stars. Anjelica Huston, Lucy Liu, Nathan Fillion, T’Nia Miller, Felicia Day, Graham McTavish, and Ivanna Saknho are all confirmed to appear, bringing a mix of talent from film and television to the series.
During the NYCC panel, fans were also treated to a surprise reveal: Wayne Brady will join The Legend of Vox Machina Season 4 as Taryon Darrington.
With its strong voice cast, fresh characters, and the continuation of Critical Role’s unique storytelling, The Mighty Nein is shaping up to be another hit for fans of fantasy animation.
