Guy Ritchie‘s Crime Series ‘MobLand’ Starring Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren Gets a March 30 Premiere Date on Paramount+
A new crime drama is hitting Paramount+ on March 30. Called “MobLand,” it’s directed by Guy Ritchie and features big names like Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren. The show dives into the dangerous world of organized crime, focusing on two rival families based in London. Their illegal businesses reach across the globe, and the series will explore the power struggles between them.
Pierce Brosnan stars as Conrad, the tough leader of one family. Helen Mirren plays his wife, Maeve, who’s just as strong and holds the family together. Tom Hardy takes on the role of Harry, a loyal enforcer who does whatever it takes to protect Conrad’s crew.
The cast also includes Paddy Considine as Conrad’s son Kevin, Joanne Froggatt as Harry’s wife Jan, and Lara Pulver as Kevin’s wife Bella. Anson Boon plays Eddie, Kevin’s son who doesn’t follow the rules.
Other actors like Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Geoff Bell, Daniel Betts, Lisa Dwan, and Emily Barber round out the lineup, bringing more layers to the story.
The series kicks off in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Australia, with plans to expand worldwide later in 2025. It’s a one-hour drama packed with tension, loyalty, and betrayal—classic themes Guy Ritchie fans will recognize from his movies like “Snatch.”
Hardy’s not just acting; he’s also an executive producer alongside Ritchie and a team that includes Keith Cox, Nina L. Diaz, and David C. Glasser. The show comes from MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, distributed by Paramount Global.
Originally, “MobLand” was tied to “Ray Donovan” as a British spinoff called “The Donovans,” but it’s now a standalone story with no connection to that series.
This is Ritchie’s third TV project, following “The Gentlemen” on Netflix and “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.” For Hardy, it’s his second time working with Ritchie after “RocknRolla” in 2008. Mirren, meanwhile, is back on Paramount+ after starring in the “Yellowstone” prequel “1923.”
“MobLand” looks like a winner. Ritchie knows how to make crime stories gritty and exciting, and this cast is stacked with talent. Hardy’s intensity, Brosnan’s cool authority, and Mirren’s commanding presence could make this a standout.
It’s got all the makings of a binge-worthy show—power plays, family drama, and a dark underworld vibe. What do you think about “MobLand”? Are you excited to see this crew in action? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
