Hayden Christensen’s Star Wars Comeback May Continue With Two More Projects Rumors Claim
Hayden Christensen’s return to the Star Wars universe may not stop with “Ahsoka” Season 2. A new report claims that Anakin Skywalker could appear in two more upcoming Star Wars projects, giving fans even more chances to see the iconic character back on screen.
According to insider Daniel Richtman, also known online as DanielRPK, Lucasfilm reportedly has plans for Anakin beyond the upcoming second season of “Ahsoka.” The report did not reveal which projects the character could appear in, but it immediately sparked speculation among Star Wars fans.
Christensen already confirmed earlier this year that he will return as Anakin Skywalker in Season 2 of “Ahsoka.” The actor previously appeared in the first season of the Disney+ series, where Anakin reunited with Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka Tano in several major scenes that quickly became fan favorites.
The return marked another big chapter in Christensen’s long history with the franchise. He first played Anakin Skywalker in 2002’s “Star Wars: Attack of the Clones” before returning for 2005’s “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.” Over time, his version of the character became one of the most talked-about parts of the prequel trilogy.
Years later, Christensen returned to the galaxy far, far away in Disney+’s “Obi-Wan Kenobi,” where he appeared as both Anakin and Darth Vader alongside Ewan McGregor. His comeback was heavily praised by longtime fans who had waited years to see him return to the role.
His appearance in “Ahsoka” Season 1 also opened the door for more stories involving Anakin. Because the series explored the World Between Worlds and flashbacks from the Clone Wars era, Lucasfilm now has several ways to continue using the character in future projects without changing established canon.
While the newest report remains unconfirmed by Lucasfilm, many fans believe Anakin’s story still has room to grow, especially as Disney continues expanding interconnected Star Wars shows and movies.
For now, Christensen’s next official appearance will be in “Ahsoka” Season 2, but if the latest report turns out to be true, the former Jedi Knight may be far from done with Star Wars.
