Hayley Williams Names Who Won’t Be Allowed at Her Upcoming Tour
Hayley Williams is setting clear rules for her upcoming solo tour, making it obvious what kind of atmosphere she wants at her shows.
Speaking to Clash magazine, the Paramore singer said she wants her concerts to be safe spaces where everyone feels welcome, but that also means drawing a firm line against people who spread hate.
“I don’t want racists around, and I don’t want sexist people around, and I don’t want people there who think that trans people are a burden,” Williams told the outlet. “That’s a hard line for me now.”
She added that her idea of “all are welcome” only applies to people who actually believe in inclusivity. “All are welcome if you believe all should be welcome. If you don’t believe that, you’re not welcome,” she said.
The singer’s stance comes as she prepares for her 2026 solo tour, which kicks off on March 27 in Atlanta and ends May 15 in Los Angeles. The tour will promote her new album, Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party.
Advocacy has been a consistent part of Williams’ public voice. In 2023, she spoke out against Tennessee legislation targeting LGBTQ+ communities.
In September 2024, during Paramore’s performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival, she criticized Project 2025, an initiative linked to Donald Trump allies, highlighting its potential impact on reproductive rights, immigration, and diversity programs.
Williams also discussed her passion for social justice on The New York Times’ Popcast podcast in October, saying she is “never not ready to scream at the top of my lungs about racial issues,” and emphasizing how connected these issues are to LGBTQIA+ rights and other forms of social justice.
