Fans of Looney Tunes Cartoons won’t be getting another season. The show, one of HBO Max’s longest-running original series, is officially finished. Warner Bros. Discovery confirmed this by listing an upcoming six-season box set as the “Complete Series”, according to The Bugs Bunny Video Guide. Streaming platforms also show the series as complete.

The show’s creator, Peter Browngardt, had already told fans in 2023 that only a few episodes were left, with the last batch planned for summer of that year. Later, a short called Daffy in Wackyland appeared in Season 6 on HBO Max in June 2024, giving some fans hope for more.

But the short had a completely different animation style, making it feel like an extra leftover rather than a sign of new episodes.

Before the series fully ended, fans got one last treat. In 2025, The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie was released. The movie followed the style of the HBO Max show and starred classic characters like Daffy Duck and Porky Pig. It’s a slapstick sci-fi adventure and was considered one of the best animated movies of 2025.

For collectors and fans, the Looney Tunes Cartoons Complete Series DVD will be released on May 19.
