Here’s Apple TV’s 2026 Sci-Fi Lineup Fans Need to Know About
Apple TV has revealed a look at its 2026 sci-fi lineup, featuring a mix of returning hits and new projects. The schedule includes release windows for several major series, with shows rolling out across the year from early spring through late fall.
1. Monarch: Legacy of Monsters (February 27 – May 1)
“Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” is an American sci-fi series set in the Monsterverse, following the organization Monarch as it deals with Godzilla and other Titans across multiple decades after the events of the 2014 film. The show stars Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, and Kurt and Wyatt Russell sharing the role of Lee Shaw. It premiered in November 2023 on Apple TV+, was renewed for a second season in 2024, and Season 2 premiered on February 27, 2026.
2. For All Mankind (March 27 – May 29)
“For All Mankind” is an Apple TV+ sci-fi drama that explores an alternate history where the space race between the U.S. and Soviet Union never ended after the Soviets landed on the Moon first. The series follows multiple generations of astronauts, NASA staff, and political figures over decades of expanding space exploration, with an ensemble cast led by actors like Joel Kinnaman and Sarah Jones.
Ahead of its fifth season premiere on March 27, 2026, Apple TV+ confirmed the series will continue with a sixth and final season planned for 2027, bringing the long-running story to a close.
3. Star City (May 29 – July 10)
“Star City” is an upcoming Apple TV+ science fiction drama and a spin-off of “For All Mankind,” focusing on the Soviet space program and life inside the cosmonaut world at Star City, named after the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center. The series explores political tension, surveillance, and personal struggles within the Soviet space race, featuring characters like engineers, cosmonauts, and KGB officials. It stars Rhys Ifans, Anna Maxwell Martin, Agnes O’Casey, and others, and is set to premiere on May 29.
4. Silo (July 3 – September 4)
“Silo” is a dystopian sci-fi series on Apple TV+ based on Hugh Howey’s novels, set in a massive underground structure where humanity survives across 144 levels, with Rebecca Ferguson starring as Juliette Nichols, an engineer uncovering its secrets. The show premiered in 2023 and has been praised for its world-building and performances, with multiple seasons already released and a strong ensemble cast. In December 2024, it was renewed for both a third season (set for July 3) and a fourth season that will serve as the final chapter of the series.
5. Dark Matter (August 28 – October 30)

Dark Matter is a sci-fi drama about a Chicago physicist who is suddenly pulled into an alternate version of his own life. Stranded in a reality where a different version of himself has taken his place, he struggles to find a way back to his original family. Along the way, he must confront the dangers of parallel realities while trying to prevent his alternate self from permanently taking over his life.
6. Neuromancer (TBA)

Neuromancer is an upcoming sci-fi adaptation created by Graham Roland and J. D. Dillard for Apple TV, based on William Gibson’s 1984 novel. The series, planned for ten episodes, follows the story of Case, a damaged hacker drawn into a high-stakes cyber world involving powerful and mysterious figures. The main cast includes Callum Turner, Briana Middleton, Joseph Lee, Mark Strong, Clémence Poésy, Peter Sarsgaard, and Emma Laird in key roles.
