Hilary Duff Turns Heads on the Cover of Gay Times Magazine
Hilary Duff is back in the spotlight with a bold new feature in the March 2026 issue of Gay Times Magazine. The 38-year-old singer and actress used the cover story to celebrate her connection with the LGBTQIA+ community and to tease her big musical comeback.
Photographed in colorful, high-fashion looks, Duff reflected on her journey from Disney teen star to a confident artist ready to take the stage again. She also revisited her 2008 anti-bullying PSA, which addressed the use of the word “gay” as an insult. “That commercial was such a specific moment in time, and I’m so proud that it helped change the conversation for a whole generation,” she told Gay Times.
Duff spoke about her role as an ally and how to use influence responsibly. “It’s about showing up and listening, but also knowing when to speak up and use your voice to push for real change,” she said. Fans of the popular drag competition series have more reason to celebrate, as Duff confirmed she will soon join the judges’ table. “The Drag Race judges’ table is finally calling my name, and I honestly can’t wait to see all that charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent in person,” she teased.
The timing of the cover story comes as Duff prepares for a major year in her career. She recently released her sixth studio album, “luck… or something,” her first full-length record since 2015. The album features singles like “Mature,” “Roommates,” and “Weather for Tennis,” highlighting a more mature and introspective sound.
To support the release, Duff is gearing up for “The Lucky Me Tour,” which starts on June 22, in Florida. The tour will travel across North America, Europe, and Australia, with support from La Roux and Lauren Spencer Smith.
Gay Times called the feature a reminder of Duff’s enduring influence in pop culture. Whether through music, TV, or live performances, she continues to combine nostalgia with fresh energy.
