Is ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ Sailing Into Season 12? Bravo Just Revealed a Crossover Nobody Saw Coming
Bravo has officially confirmed that ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ will return for another season, and the new chapter comes with a first for both franchises. The network revealed that the cast of ‘Summer House’ will board the yacht as charter guests. Few fans were expecting that kind of splash.
The next season of ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ is already in motion. The boat was back in the water with cameras rolling while the previous season was still airing. Here is everything we know so far about the crew, the yacht, the guests and the timing.
Will There Be Another ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ Season?
The answer is yes. Bravo announced the news on August 6 with a photo shared on Instagram. The image showed Captain Sandy Yawn and chief stew Aesha Scott welcoming several ‘Summer House’ stars aboard the yacht.
The pairing is a big deal for both shows. According to Bravo, the ‘Summer House’ cast will embark on their first ever charter, while the ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ crew will take on its first Bravo crossover charter.
The announcement has also set the rumor mill spinning. The crossover fuels speculation about more connections between Bravo franchises. If this charter goes well, the yacht may not be the only thing that stays afloat.
Who Is in the ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ Cast And Crew?
Some of the lineup is already locked in. Captain Sandy will be at the helm again, and Aesha is returning as chief stew, a position she has held since season nine. The full crew has not yet been announced.
Fans have been piecing together the rest from leaked images. Photos circulating on Reddit appear to show Chef Joy and a person noted as the alleged bosun. That alleged bosun is said to be Joe Bradley, and another image reportedly shows Katie Flood, the chief stew from season six. None of this is confirmed by Bravo, so treat it as speculation for now.
Joy and Joe are both familiar faces. Both are part of the crew on the season currently airing, alongside bosun Nathan Gallagher and Aesha. A returning crew could mean a very different dynamic once the guests arrive.
The guest list is just as intriguing. The ‘Summer House’ cast members joining the crossover include Jesse Solomon, Mia Calabrese, Lindsay Hubbard, Ciara Miller, Carl Radke, Kyle Cooke and Bailey Taylor. KJ Dillard is also returning for the new season of ‘Summer House’, according to Bravo.
Where Is ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ Filming Next?
The filming location has been traced to Greece, at least according to fans. A spoiler on Reddit suggests the crew is sailing around the Ionian Islands in western Greece, specifically Corfu. That detail came from a fan post and not an official announcement.
The yacht appears to have changed as well. The crew seems to be filming aboard the motor yacht Zaliv III, which is slightly smaller than the vessel used in the previous season. Like the current yacht, it sleeps up to 12 guests in 6 cabins.
The change of scenery would be a notable shift for the series. The current season’s description promised the vibrant energy and artful cityscapes of Barcelona as its backdrop. Island hopping around Corfu would give the new season a very different feel.
‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ Season 12 Release Date and What Comes Next
There is no premiere date yet. Bravo has only confirmed that the new season and the special crossover episode with ‘Summer House’ will air in 2027. An air date for either season has not been announced.
Looking at the show’s pattern offers a few clues. The series typically premieres in the summer or early fall months, though the current season is airing in fall 2026 on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET. New episodes stream on Peacock, so viewers should know where to look once the next charter season is ready.
For now, fans can keep an eye on Bravo’s social channels for casting news and a trailer. With Captain Sandy and Aesha hosting the ‘Summer House’ gang on a superyacht, which guest do you think will test this crew’s patience first?
