Jack Black and Paul Rudd Face a Giant Snake in New ‘Anaconda’ Trailer
Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for Anaconda, the upcoming action-comedy-horror film that reimagines the 1997 classic.
The movie stars Jack Black and Paul Rudd and is set to hit theaters in the United States on December 25, 2025. Directed by Tom Gormican, who co-wrote the script with Kevin Etten, this is the sixth installment in the Anaconda film series.
The story follows Doug (Jack Black), a wedding videographer, and Griff (Paul Rudd), a background actor, who head into the Amazon rainforest to remake their favorite film from childhood.
Their fun adventure takes a dangerous turn when a real giant anaconda shows up, threatening the chaotic movie set. According to Sony Pictures, “The movie they’re dying to make? It might just kill them.”
