Jake Gyllenhaal, 45, Steps Out With Girlfriend Jeanne Cadieu, 29, for Rare Red Carpet Date at ‘The Bride!’ London Premiere

Actor Jake Gyllenhaal made an uncommon appearance on the red carpet with his longtime partner Jeanne Cadieu during the premiere of the film The Bride! in London.

The 45-year-old actor attended the event on Thursday evening alongside Cadieu, a 29-year-old model who grew up in Paris. According to reporting by the Daily Mail, the couple has been together since 2018 but rarely appears together at public events.

The premiere took place at Cineworld Leicester Square. The movie was directed and written by Gyllenhaal’s sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal. In the film, Jake Gyllenhaal plays a character named Ronnie Reed.

Cadieu drew attention with her outfit at the event. She wore a tight black dress from the fashion house Schiaparelli. The design featured a drawn outline of a woman’s body across the front. She paired the dress with suede heels and a small black clutch decorated with gold metal details. Large gold and pearl earrings completed the look.

Gyllenhaal chose a more classic style. He appeared in a black double-breasted suit while posing with Cadieu for photographers.

Later in the evening, the couple also attended a celebration after the premiere at Bardo St James. Fans gathered outside and Gyllenhaal was seen signing autographs as he arrived.

Although they keep their relationship mostly private, Gyllenhaal has occasionally spoken about Cadieu in interviews. In a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter last year, he shared that work used to dominate much of his life.

“I’m not going to give you timing [about wedding bells]. I think we all get into that space of work, work, work, and for a long time my career took precedence,” he said. “But I’m at a point in my life where I realise that family really is the only thing that matters to me.”

During the same interview he talked about everyday moments they enjoy together. He described attending a pie-tasting event in Los Angeles and recalled how excited they were to get tickets.

“We got [tasting] tickets a month and a half early,” he said. “I was like, ‘Babe, we can go! We can go to the pie contest!’”

The actor has also spoken about their relationship in the past. In a 2022 profile with Esquire, he said the relationship makes him feel stable and supported.

“In a lot of ways, we’re family. I’m in a relationship that is full of love and support. I feel so at ease.”

Gyllenhaal has also said he hopes to start a family in the future. While promoting his children’s book The Secret Society Of Aunts And Uncles, he shared that he would like that chapter of life someday. He said he admires the family his sister Maggie has built with her husband, actor Peter Sarsgaard.

The new film The Bride! also features actors Jessie Buckley and Christian Bale. The story is set in 1930s Chicago and centers on the creation of a companion for Frankenstein’s monster, which leads to romance and unexpected consequences.

It is interesting that Gyllenhaal and Cadieu keep their relationship mostly out of the spotlight despite his long career in Hollywood. When celebrities appear together rarely, it often makes those moments feel more special to fans.
