Jared Padalecki Confirms His Episode Appearance in ‘The Boys’ Season 5
Fans of The Boys are in for a treat as the final season of Eric Kripke’s hit series is set to bring back some familiar faces from Supernatural.
While it won’t be a full reboot of the long-running CW series, several of its stars will reunite on screen, giving fans the crossover they’ve been hoping for.
Jensen Ackles will once again suit up as Soldier Boy, a role he last played in Season 3. Joining him this time are his Supernatural co-stars Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins, who will also appear in Season 5.
Their exact roles are still being kept quiet, but the three actors are expected to share scenes together.
During a recent appearance at Fan Expo Boston, Padalecki was asked about his role in the new season. He didn’t give away too much, but he teased, “I’ll say this much — my character is very excited to meet Soldier Boy.”
That little hint suggests his character could look up to Soldier Boy, setting up a dynamic that might remind fans of his past on-screen brotherly bond with Ackles.
Padalecki also revealed when fans can expect him to show up. “It’s Episode 5 of Season 5. I think they’re putting out the first four episodes and then a little bit of time and then the final four episodes.” He also playfully warned younger fans, adding, “And for those who are not yet 18, do not watch it.”
Collins’ role remains a mystery, but Kripke has confirmed that all three actors will appear together at some point in the season. For longtime Supernatural viewers, this reunion promises plenty of nostalgic energy, even if it’s set in the much darker and bloodier world of The Boys.
Season 5 of The Boys will also bring back Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, and the rest of the main cast, alongside new addition Daveed Diggs. The season is confirmed to be the show’s last, wrapping up the story that began back in 2019.
The news that Padalecki, Ackles, and Collins are reuniting has fans buzzing with excitement. Seeing them together again, even in very different roles, feels like a bonus for those who stuck with Supernatural for all fifteen seasons.
