Jason Statham Delivers High-Octane Action in New ‘Shelter’ Trailer
Jason Statham is back in action with the newly released trailer for the upcoming thriller, Shelter.
The film, directed by Ric Roman Waugh and written by Ward Parry, brings Statham into another high-stakes story filled with tension and suspense. Black Bear Pictures is set to release the movie in the United States on January 30, 2026.
Shelter also features a strong supporting cast including Bodhi Rae Breathnach, Bill Nighy, Naomi Ackie, and Daniel Mays. Jason Statham plays the lead role of Mason, with the rest of the cast contributing to a gripping ensemble that promises intense action sequences.

The project was first introduced at the 2024 Cannes Film Market under a working title, with Baltasar Kormákur originally attached to direct. Plans were made to shoot in the UK and Iceland, but earlier this year, Ric Roman Waugh took over as director. Filming began in the United Kingdom and Ireland, including locations in Enniskerry, and wrapped later that year. The film’s title was officially revealed as Shelter in October.
The newly released trailer gives fans a first look at the movie’s high-octane action and suspenseful scenes. It highlights Statham’s trademark blend of physicality and intensity, while also teasing the dynamic interactions with the supporting cast.
