Jessica Alba made a stylish appearance at the Chanel and Charles Finch Pre-Oscar Dinner in Beverly Hills this weekend. According to reports from the event and photos shared online, the actress and businesswoman arrived at the famous Polo Lounge looking polished and confident as she joined other high-profile guests ahead of the Academy Awards.

Alba chose a black Chanel outfit for the evening. She wore a tailored boucle jacket from the luxury fashion house, detailed with subtle shimmer and decorative buttons. The structured jacket was paired with high-waisted, wide-leg trousers, giving the look a clean and modern feel.

She completed the outfit with a deep burgundy quilted Chanel handbag, which added a strong contrast to the all-black clothing. Her hair was styled in loose, beachy waves that gave her overall look a relaxed touch.

The private dinner is known as one of the most exclusive events leading up to the Oscars. According to reports from the reception, Alba spent time talking with several major figures from the entertainment world, including Jeff Bezos and actress Sigourney Weaver.

Alba has also been busy professionally as 2026 gets underway. Earlier this year it was announced that she will star in the action thriller The Mark. The movie is directed by Justin Chadwick, and Alba plays a mysterious spy named Eden who becomes involved in a dangerous mission linked to political corruption. The role marks a return to the action genre that helped make her famous during the early years of her career.

Another project on her schedule is the film Maserati: The Brothers. The drama tells the story of the famous automotive family and features a cast that includes Anthony Hopkins and Andy Garcia alongside Alba.

Outside of acting, Alba remains active in business. Although she stepped down as Chief Creative Officer of The Honest Company in 2024, she still serves on the company’s board of directors and continues to support its focus on clean and responsible products.

She has also launched a production company called Lady Metalmark Entertainment. The company aims to develop stories led by women and bring more diverse voices into film and television.

Speaking about her work behind the camera, Alba explained her motivation for starting the company. “I want to build things that last,” she said. “It’s about creating opportunities for other women to tell their stories the way they want to see them told.”

Her recent success also includes the Netflix thriller Trigger Warning, which reached the number one spot in dozens of countries when it premiered. The film showed that Alba can still draw large audiences while also exploring serious and character-focused roles.

As awards season comes to an end, Alba’s appearance at the Chanel dinner reminded many fans of her long-standing presence in Hollywood. Over the years she has moved from teen star to producer, entrepreneur, and leading actress.

Jessica Alba’s career shows how someone can evolve in Hollywood while staying relevant in different areas. She is acting, producing, and building businesses at the same time, which is not easy.
