Jessica Alba Shares Her Secret Diet for Staying Fit and Fabulous at 44
Jessica Alba is turning 45 this April, and she’s still impressing fans with her figure. The actress, who is a mother of three, credits her slim and toned body to a mix of diet and exercise, though she says what she eats is more important than how much she works out.
Alba told sources that during intense preparation for filming roles, she trains the hardest. Outside of those times, she keeps in shape by exercising two to three times a week. “When I work out, my body feels tighter and I feel stronger, but diet is the most important thing if I want to stay slim,” she said. She avoids gluten, dairy, fried foods, and processed meals. Her diet focuses on low sugar, low carbs, and plenty of protein and vegetables.
For workouts, she likes to push herself. “I need to sweat. I feel like I haven’t done anything if I don’t get exhausted,” Alba explained. She enjoys high-intensity workouts and pilates. “Pilates activated muscles I didn’t even know I had. I never thought it could be such a good exercise,” she said. She also likes running, hiking, swimming, biking, and moves like squats and jumps to tone her body.
Alba isn’t a vegetarian, but she tries to eat plant-based foods four days a week and avoids alcohol on those days. “Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are more flexible. That’s my balance,” she said. Her meals often include protein shakes, avocado with poached eggs for breakfast, and snacks like fresh vegetables with hummus or lightly salted popcorn. She avoids sweets and chooses fruit or desserts sweetened with honey instead.
Hydration is another key for Alba. “I love coconut water and its benefits. I don’t drink sweetened drinks. I stick to coffee, tea, water, and coconut water, and that’s it,” she shared. She believes proper hydration is crucial for both health and appearance.
Overall, Alba’s approach shows that consistency and smart choices are more effective than extreme routines. She balances strict diet days with flexible ones, mixes cardio, strength, and pilates, and avoids processed foods to maintain her shape.
Jessica Alba’s routine is inspiring because it’s realistic and balanced. It shows that staying healthy doesn’t require extreme dieting or working out every day, it’s about smart choices and consistency. What do you think about her diet and workout routine? Share your thoughts in the comments.
