Jessica Simpson Nearly Unrecognizable in “All’s Fair” Thanks to “Botched” Facial Prosthetics
Jessica Simpson has made a dramatic return to acting on the new Hulu series All’s Fair, starring alongside Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, and Sarah Paulson.
The Dukes of Hazzard star underwent an extreme transformation, wearing heavy facial prosthetics that left her nearly unrecognizable.
In the show, Simpson’s character turns to Kardashian’s Allura Grant, a divorce lawyer, for help after a plastic surgery gone wrong. Her character seeks revenge on an ex-husband who pushed her into the procedure in the first place.
Speaking to Deadline about the role, Simpson revealed that the makeup process was intense. “I really embody someone that I am not, so I was definitely acting,” she said, adding that it took eight hours in the makeup chair to apply the prosthetics.

All’s Fair is a legal drama created by Ryan Murphy. The series features a high-profile cast including Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, Kim Kardashian, Niecy Nash, Sarah Paulson, and Teyana Taylor. It premiered on November 4, 2025, on Hulu.

Despite the star-studded cast, the show has received harsh criticism. According to Rotten Tomatoes, it currently holds a 0% average on the Tomatometer, while audiences gave it a 53% rating on the Popcornmeter.
Simpson’s role stands out as one of the most talked-about aspects of the series, thanks to her extreme transformation. “It was very intense,” she said about the prosthetics, emphasizing how much effort went into creating the character’s look.
While the show has struggled with critics, Simpson’s performance and commitment to her role are generating buzz online. The series’ mix of legal drama and outrageous transformations seems to be the main talking point among viewers.
