Photos and videos shared on social media show the brothers on location, alongside a large crowd of extras and set pieces like canoes, kayaks, and a classic car.
The production is currently using the working title Rock the Boat, and Creative BC confirmed that filming will continue through October 28.
Rumors of Camp Rock 3 have been circulating for years, and the buzz grew after Demi Lovato reunited with the Jonas Brothers on stage in 2022 to perform hits from the first two films. On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Lovato was asked about the third movie.
She said, “Is Camp Rock 3 happening? I saw that Joe said something and I’m really excited for the new generation to take the lead. You’ll just have to wait and see.”
Joe Jonas had previously teased the project during a Hot Ones interview, revealing he had “Read Camp Rock 3” in his notes app, joking, “Sorry, Disney,” while his brothers reacted in surprise.
The original Camp Rock premiered in 2008 and was a major success, drawing nearly 9 million viewers on Disney Channel. Its sequel came out in 2010, and both films helped launch the careers of the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato. Fans have long hoped for a third installment, and the current filming suggests that the wait may finally be over.
Seeing the Jonas Brothers back together on a Disney set is exciting for longtime fans and new viewers alike. The mix of nostalgia and fresh energy could make Camp Rock 3 a big hit. Are you excited to see the Jonas Brothers back in a Camp Rock movie? Share your thoughts in the comments.
