Jonathan Bailey Sparks Frenzy After Playful Neck Bite with Scarlett Johansson – All Fans Are Saying the Same Thing
Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey have grabbed the spotlight after a new selfie of the actors went viral. The image shows Bailey playfully leaning toward Johansson’s neck while she looks at the camera, sparking online chatter about their closeness.
The photo was shared on the official page of The Shameless Fund and came while both stars were promoting Jurassic World Rebirth. In the film, Johansson plays geneticist Dr. Eliza Carter and Bailey stars as Dr. Henry Loomis, both key to the story.
Johansson addressed the reaction in an interview with Today, explaining their friendship. “He’s a lovable guy, what can I say?…We’re just friendly people. Yeah, I’ve got a lot of love to give,” she said.
She also brushed off criticism, adding, “Nothing surprises me, you know what I mean?” Johansson highlighted that their playful displays of affection, including kisses, are part of how they promote the film and connect with fans.
Bailey shared his perspective in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “I believe in being able to show love in all different ways. And if you can’t kiss your friends… life’s too short not to,” he said, framing the playful moments as an expression of friendship and comfort.
Even Johansson’s husband, Colin Jost, commented on the attention the photo received. Speaking to ET, he noted that fans had “really blown it out of proportion.”
He added, “Jonathan’s an out gay man. It didn’t seem like the biggest threat. Jonathan and I were like, ‘I guess we have to kiss now?’” His comments emphasized that the moment was lighthearted and posed no real tension.
Despite the explanations, some fans expressed disbelief online, claiming the moment was inappropriate because Johansson is married. The viral selfie has sparked widespread discussion about friendship, public displays of affection, and how actors interact during promotions.
