Kate Beckinsale Says Daughter’s Boyfriend “Laid Two Eggs in One Week”
Kate Beckinsale shared a very unexpected story on a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and the moment quickly became the highlight of her interview.
The actress, who is 52, opened up about something strange that happened to her daughter Lily Mo Sheen’s boyfriend. The story came directly from Beckinsale during her chat with host Jimmy Kimmel.
Beckinsale said the last few years had been hard for her, especially after losing both her parents. She explained that one of the few things that actually made her laugh during that time came from her daughter’s boyfriend.
She told Kimmel, “He laid two eggs in a week is what the bright spot was.” Kimmel looked confused, so she went on to explain that the man went to the bathroom and found what looked like a real egg in the toilet, complete with a shell and yolk.
According to Beckinsale, the boyfriend was terrified by what happened. She said she became very invested in the situation because she needed something to distract her from everything else going on. Beckinsale also mentioned that Lily sent her photos of the second egg, which she showed to Kimmel and Guillermo Rodriguez during the interview.
Kimmel reacted by joking, “Your daughter’s boyfriend is the Easter Bunny!” Beckinsale said she even checked with multiple doctors to understand how something like that could happen, and she shared that they suggested it might be related to “some sort of complicated masturbation thing.”

Beckinsale laughed as she wrapped up the story and admitted that the bizarre moment actually made her like the boyfriend even more. She added, “So, it’s my favorite thing he’s ever done, and I really like him. But it’s been a while, and I’m ready for another one.”
