Kate Hudson, 46, Barely Hides Cleavage in Shimmering Oscars Gown
Kate Hudson wowed on the red carpet at the 98th Academy Awards on Sunday, March 15, wearing a custom Giorgio Armani Privé gown. The 46-year-old actress chose a jade green bustier dress with a plunging sweetheart neckline and peplum waist, covered in intricate stone and crystal embroidery. According to a news release from the designer, the outfit is part of the spring/summer 2026 runway collection.
Hudson was joined by her mother, Goldie Hawn, as they arrived at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The star was nominated for Best Actress for her role in Song Sung Blue, where she plays Claire Sardina, one half of the Milwaukee-based Neil Diamond tribute band Lightning & Thunder, alongside Hugh Jackman as her on-screen husband, Mike Sardina. The film is inspired by the real-life story of the band’s rise to regional fame despite personal challenges.
In an interview with USA TODAY earlier, Hudson said she was “thrilled, excited and grateful” about her Oscar nomination. “It really hasn’t sunk in totally yet, but it’s going to at some point,” she added. This marks her second Oscar nomination, following her 2000 nod for Best Supporting Actress for Almost Famous.
