Kate Hudson turned heads at the New York City premiere of “Song Sung Blue” on Thursday, showing off a romantic and elegant look. The actress, 46, attended the event alongside her mother, Goldie Hawn.

Hudson wore a green Valentino gown with a deep plunging neckline and a silky sash at the waist. The dress blended shades of lime and chartreuse and featured a flowing skirt with a small train that trailed behind her.

Adding to the outfit, Hudson layered a soft pink, semi-sheer cape inspired by Valentino’s spring 2026 collection, fastened with a black velvet collar. She kept her accessories simple, wearing earrings by Mindi Mond. Her makeup was understated, with bold brows, lightly lined eyes, and a glossy lip, while her hair was styled in a slicked-back bun, a popular trend in 2025.

Hudson posed for photos with her mother, who looked radiant in a sparkling black ensemble paired with a semi-sheer blouse adorned with glittering silver details.

Throughout the promotional tour for “Song Sung Blue,” Hudson has favored high-fashion looks. Before the premiere, she appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in Fendi and has also worn pieces from Stella McCartney and Vera Wang in recent weeks, according to sources at the event.

Directed by Craig Brewer, “Song Sung Blue” tells the story of Claire and Mike, played by Hudson and Hugh Jackman, a couple forming a Neil Diamond tribute band and navigating both success and challenges. The film is set to hit theaters on December 25.

Hudson’s red carpet style at this premiere perfectly balanced glamour and sophistication. She managed to make a bold statement while keeping the overall look elegant. What do you think about her outfit? Share your thoughts in the comments.
