This follows Lamar’s highly successful 2025 Grammy run, where he won five awards including record and song of the year for “Not Like Us.”
Speaking during his acceptance speech, Lamar reflected on the power of rap music: “Because at the end of the day, nothing more powerful than rap music. I don’t care what it is. We are the culture that’s going to always stay here and live forever… Respect the art form, it’ll get you where you need to go.”
Currently, Kendrick Lamar has 22 Grammys. If he wins three more, he would surpass Jay-Z as the rapper with the most Grammy wins in hip-hop history.
