Kim Kardashian Claims the 1969 Moon Landing Never Happened: “So I Think It Didn’t Happen”
Kim Kardashian has once again stirred controversy with her views on a major historical event.
On the October 30 episode of The Kardashians, the 45-year-old reality star revealed that she doesn’t believe the 1969 moon landing actually happened. She also tried to convince her All’s Fair co-star, Sarah Paulson, to question it too.
“I’m sending you, so far, a million articles with both Buzz Aldrin and… the other one,” Kim told Paulson, referring to astronauts Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong.
“Yes, do it,” Paulson replied as Kim explained one of the articles she sent. “This girl says, ‘What was the scariest moment?’ And [Aldrin] goes, ‘There was no scary moment, cause it didn’t happen. It could’ve been scary, but it wasn’t, cause it didn’t happen,’” Kim said.
Kim suggested that Aldrin now “slips up” in interviews because he’s older. “So I think it didn’t happen,” she admitted. Paulson said she would go on a “massive deep dive” after reviewing what Kim had sent her. Kim also admitted in a confessional that she sends Paulson conspiracy theories frequently.
Later, a producer asked Kim directly if she thinks astronauts walked on the moon. “I don’t think we did. I think it was fake,” Kim responded.
She gave several reasons why she believes the moon landing was staged. “Why does Buzz Aldrin say it didn’t happen? There’s no gravity on the moon — why is the flag blowing? The shoes that they have in the museum that they wore on the moon [have] a different [foot]print than the photos. Why are there no stars?”
When asked how she responds to people who call her crazy, Kim said, “They’re gonna say I’m crazy no matter what. But like, go to TikTok. See for yourself.”
Her comments have already sparked a wave of reactions online, with many people debating her conspiracy theory on social media platforms.
