Kim Kardashian Reveals She Has a Brain Aneurysm, Blames Kanye West Divorce Stress
Kim Kardashian has opened up about a recent health scare and the stress she feels amid her ongoing divorce from Kanye West.
In a preview for Season 7 of Hulu’s The Kardashians, the socialite revealed she discovered a small brain aneurysm while going through an MRI scan. She described it to her family as “a little aneurysm.”
Kardashian, 45, said the stress of her ex-husband’s recent behavior has affected her health and well-being. Speaking while filming her upcoming FX series All’s Fair, she explained, “I feel more stressed because of what I had to protect. My kids are involved now.”
She emphasized that protecting their children, North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6, is her top priority when West’s behavior becomes erratic. “They’re going to know things. They’re going to grow up. They’re going to see. My job as a mom is just to make sure that at a time when that behavior is happening, is just to make sure that they are protected,” she said.
Kardashian noted that one of her children recently witnessed some of the tension for the first time, making her feel the pressure even more.
Reflecting on her past approach to West’s actions, she admitted, “I always felt like I had a little bit of Stockholm Syndrome, to where I always felt really bad, and always protected, and always wanted to help. And this was the first time I didn’t feel that responsibility personally.” She explained that she can’t simply walk away from the situation since West, 48, is the father of her children.

Kardashian also addressed misconceptions online about her parenting and custody arrangements, saying, “It’s very confusing, because it’ll be all this talk on the internet of like, I’m keeping the kids. He’s never once called and asked. But then I’ll wake up, and it’s on Twitter that I’m keeping the kids.” She noted that West purchased a house next to her Hidden Hills estate in 2021, shortly after she filed for divorce.
West’s recent public behavior has included numerous social media outbursts focusing on co-parenting issues and Kardashian’s parenting. Some of his posts have been widely criticized for including hateful or offensive language, while he has also faced multiple lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct and workplace violations.
