Kim Kardashian recently opened up about the challenges of co-parenting with her ex-husband Kanye West in a candid interview on Alex Cooper’s podcast, Call Her Daddy.

The reality star and entrepreneur, who shares four children with West, North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6, poke openly about the difficulties she faces in maintaining a stable parenting routine.

The conversation also touched on Kardashian’s personal life, her relationships with her sisters, and her career ambitions.

She joked about her closeness with Kourtney despite family drama and shared insights into her glamorous lifestyle, estimating that she spends between $1 million and $5 million on beauty and fashion each year. She also mentioned her ongoing efforts to pass the bar exam, saying, “I don’t really care to have my bachelor’s degree. I just want my law degree.”

When the topic turned to West, Kardashian was straightforward about the complexities of co-parenting. “What do you think co-parenting with Kanye West is like? It’s not easy,” she admitted.

She explained that she now raises the children full-time, though she encourages and supports a relationship between them and their father. “I welcome a great healthy relationship with my kids and their dad, and I think he knows that, I push for it all the time. It’s not easy,” she said.

Kardashian noted that her children see West when he reaches out, though she acknowledged it has been a few months since their last contact.

She also expressed frustration with public narratives suggesting she limits his access, stating, “The one thing that just gets me is that there’s this narrative that, like, I keep the kids away from him. I’ve never once done that.” She described the false headlines as confusing and upsetting, saying, “I just wake up and there’s all these tweets about how I’ve kidnapped the kids and I’m like, it’s not a kidnapping, it’s a divorce.”

She also addressed the emotional strain of monitoring what is said about her family online, revealing that she often drafts messages or social media posts she never sends. “There has been so many times where I’ve written a draft and been like, ‘I’m gonna go,’ and then I’m just like, what’s the point? My kids are gonna see this,” Kardashian said.

She emphasized that while she tolerates discussion of politics or personal beliefs, anything involving her children is off-limits.

Looking ahead, Kardashian didn’t rule out the possibility of another marriage. She shared that she had been designing a wedding dress with the late Thierry Mugler before his passing in 2022.

Regarding future partners, she joked that she would avoid rappers or athletes and instead looks for someone like a lawyer or longevity scientist. “I think we’re going, like, lawyers and longevity scientists that can give me all their secrets,” she said.
