Lewis Pullman, known for his role in Thunderbolts*, has been making waves in Hollywood with his recent work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While he’s received plenty of attention for his transformation into the superhero known as the Sentry, Pullman’s real-life friendships and experiences also stand out, especially his close bond with fellow actor Danny Ramirez.

Pullman and Ramirez, who both starred in Top Gun: Maverick, became roommates after filming and have since found themselves on similar career paths. Pullman recalls how their friendship developed during their time working together.

I just saw him at the Thunderbolts premiere,” Pullman says of Ramirez. “We talk all the time. It’s a friendship that I’m so lucky to have because we’ve been on such bizarrely similar trajectories.” The two actors have remained close throughout their careers, with Ramirez offering valuable advice and support. Pullman describes their bond as one of mutual encouragement.

“Danny’s had such great advice and encouragement for me,” Pullman says. “We both have the same kind of attitude about why we do what we do.” And as they continue to take on new roles, their shared experiences in the MCU are just beginning to unfold.
