Loki’s Secret Squad: Rumored Members of His Team in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Revealed
Fans are abuzz with rumors that Loki may be forming his own team in Avengers: Doomsday. Although nothing has been officially confirmed, sources suggest the God of Mischief could be gathering a group of “time exiles” to play a pivotal role in the upcoming blockbuster, alongside established teams like the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men.
This rumored lineup fits perfectly, as most of these characters have experienced timeline disruptions or multiverse mishaps, setting the stage for an intriguing and unpredictable new team dynamic. Let’s take a closer look.
1. & 2. Deadpool & Wolverine

This one’s fairly straightforward. Deadpool successfully saved his reality, but canonically, he’s caused plenty of chaos with both time travel and the multiverse, making it easy to see why he’d be considered an exile. Wolverine, meanwhile, never returned to his native reality after failing to save it. He now resides in Deadpool’s reality, where his variant died during the events of Logan, serving as the anchor being for that universe.
3. Captain Carter

The last time we saw Captain Carter was in the Season 3 finale of What If…?, where she made the ultimate sacrifice to save her team, the Guardians of the Multiverse. Using her newfound powers, she sent the Watchers, Uatu, and her companions to Strange Supreme’s universe. Tragically, Peggy didn’t survive the encounter, and her friends later honored her with a solemn funeral on the Observational Plane.
Captain Carter also appeared in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, where she was killed by Scarlet Witch, who bisected her with her own shield.
But if What If…? has taught us anything, it’s that countless variants exist across the multiverse. Theoretically, Captain Carter could return, especially since Hayley Atwell has been confirmed to reprise her role as Peggy Carter in the upcoming film.
4. Captain America (Nomad)

Chris Evans was confirmed to appear in the movie some time ago, and rumors strongly point to him taking on the role of Nomad, a variant of Captain America.
Nomad is an alternate identity Steve Rogers assumes in Captain America #180 (1974). In the comic, he abandons the mantle of Captain America after losing faith in the U.S. government, becoming a hero with no allegiance to any nation.
A version of Nomad was subtly referenced in Avengers: Infinity War when Steve Rogers was on the run with Sam Wilson and Natasha Romanoff. Co-director Joe Russo clarified that while Rogers wasn’t officially Nomad, he embodied “the spirit of that character.”
What remains uncertain is how this Nomad variant will tie into Loki and the wider Multiverse.
5. Sylvie

Sylvie has always been “out of place and out of time,” which is why the TVA spent much of her life pursuing her across timelines and the multiverse. When Loki sacrificed himself to become the God of Stories, granting Sylvie and countless other beings across the multiverse their freedom, she chose to wander. In one of the final scenes of Loki Season 2, Sylvie admitted she had no idea where she was going. But if rumors are to be believed, we might have a pretty good guess: Avengers: Doomsday.
6. Gambit

You might assume Gambit will join the X-Men in the upcoming movie, but that’s not the case, he hails from a different reality. Introduced in Deadpool & Wolverine, Gambit isn’t a variant from Deadpool’s (Fox) universe; he comes from an unknown dimension, first encountered by Deadpool in the Void.
What happens to Gambit after the movie remains a mystery. Deadpool and Wolverine escape the Void by jumping through an inter-dimensional portal just before Alioth could devour them.
Following their victory, Gambit wanders through the compound, stepping over the bodies of Psylocke and Toad. He then notices a new inter-dimensional portal opening behind him and stares into it with a knowing smile, hinting at adventures yet to come.
7. Hunter B-15

B-15, also known as Verity Willis, rose to lead the TVA following the events of Loki Season 2. She later appeared in Deadpool & Wolverine, helping clean up the chaos caused by Mr. Paradox after he attempted to fast-track the destruction of Deadpool’s universe. After arresting Mr. Paradox and sparing Deadpool’s reality, she found her “happily ever after” with Peterpool. Beyond that, her next moves remain a mystery—but it wouldn’t be surprising if she aligned herself with Loki.
Take note that Loki’s team has never been officially confirmed. These rumors were reported by Austin Medeiros on X.
