Madonna, 67, Brings the Heat in Sultry New Dolce & Gabbana ‘The One’ Campaign
Madonna is stepping back into the spotlight as the new face of Dolce & Gabbana Beauty’s famous fragrance, The One.
The brand confirmed the news as it celebrates the scent’s 20th anniversary. The One is known for helping kick off the era of celebrity perfumes, and Dolce & Gabbana is marking the moment with a bold new global campaign.
The campaign includes photos and a short film. Madonna stars in it alongside actor Alberto Guerra. The visuals focus on strong emotion and attraction, matching the scent’s warm notes like amber, jasmine, and vanilla. The tone is confident and very sensual. Dolce & Gabbana released the campaign worldwide this week.
This project is not a first-time collaboration. Madonna has worked with Dolce & Gabbana for decades. Their connection goes back to the brand’s early fashion shows and includes a past campaign shot in 2010 by photographer Steven Klein. According to WWD, the fashion house sees Madonna as a natural fit for the message behind The One.
Dolce & Gabbana Beauty CEO Gianluca Toniolo explained the choice in an interview with WWD. “We picked a celebrity that has always been very close to Dolce&Gabbana and its history; she’s been part of this brand’s legacy,” he said.
He added that Madonna has matched the brand’s style and spirit since the 1990s. “When you look for a talent to embody the concept of being ‘The One,’ well, that’s what she’s been doing for 30 years.”
Along with the campaign, the brand is also growing the fragrance line. Dolce & Gabbana Beauty is introducing stronger versions of the scent for both women and men, plus an updated men’s edition. The goal is to keep the same warm feel while making the fragrances last longer and feel deeper.
