Marvel Drops New Look at ‘Wonder Man’ Series with Exciting New Clip
Marvel fans are getting a new look at the upcoming Disney+ series Wonder Man, with a new clip recently released giving viewers a glimpse of what’s to come.
The series, created by Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest, is based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name and will be the 17th television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Wonder Man follows Simon Williams, played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, an aspiring actor who auditions for the lead role in a remake of the in-universe Wonder Man film.
Alongside him is Trevor Slattery, played by Ben Kingsley, a former actor trying to rebuild his career after past controversies. The story explores their journey in Hollywood, with Simon eventually discovering his superhuman abilities, including immense strength, speed, and the ability to create explosions, though he is initially more focused on acting than heroics.

The series also features Arian Moayed as DODC agent P. Cleary, X Mayo, Zlatko Burić as director Von Kovak, Olivia Thirlby, and Byron Bowers as DeMarr Davis, also known as Doorman. Additional cast members include Demetrius Grosse as Simon’s older brother Eric/Grim Reaper, Ed Harris as Simon’s agent Neal Saroyan, and Josh Gad appearing as himself.
Wonder Man is part of Phase Six of the MCU and will be released under the “Marvel Spotlight” banner. The full eight-episode series is set to premiere on Disney+ on January 27, 2026.
This series also continues the story of Trevor Slattery, concluding a trilogy for Kingsley’s character that began with Iron Man 3 and continued in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Slattery’s journey in Wonder Man shows him seeking redemption while facing the challenges of his complicated past.
With the release of the new clip, anticipation for Wonder Man is growing among MCU fans. The series promises a mix of superhero thrills, humor, and Hollywood satire, making it a unique addition to the franchise.
