Marvel Studios appears to be teasing some major locations that will play a role in Avengers: Doomsday. New promotional material for the upcoming MCU crossover has revealed four important Marvel team bases, giving fans a possible look at where some of the film’s biggest battles and moments could take place.

The new marketing display was spotted at a convention in Shanghai, China. According to reports, the booth featured artwork highlighting four locations connected to Marvel’s biggest superhero groups: Avengers Headquarters, the X-Mansion, the Baxter Building, and Wakanda.

While Marvel has kept the story of Avengers: Doomsday mostly secret, the film is expected to bring together several major teams for the first time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The movie will include the Avengers, the New Avengers, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, and heroes from Wakanda and Talokan.

With so many groups involved, these locations could become important gathering points throughout the movie.

The Avengers Headquarters shown in the promotional material appears to resemble the old Avengers Compound from Avengers: Endgame. The original compound was destroyed during the battle against Thanos, and Marvel has not confirmed what happened to the location afterward.

The new artwork has led fans to speculate that the Avengers Compound may have been rebuilt. The timing also raises questions because the MCU currently has multiple superhero teams operating at the same time, including Sam Wilson’s Avengers and the New Avengers.

Another major location featured in the marketing is the X-Mansion, the famous home of the X-Men. The mansion has been a key part of the X-Men movies from Fox and is now expected to become part of the MCU’s larger universe.

The upcoming film will bring back several classic X-Men actors, including Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, and James Marsden. The X-Mansion has already appeared damaged in earlier Avengers: Doomsday teaser footage, but the new promotional images show the iconic building looking restored and grand.

The Shanghai convention display reportedly also recreated parts of the X-Mansion, including details like Professor X’s wheelchair and library, suggesting the location could have a meaningful role in the film.

The Baxter Building is another important location included in the new marketing. The building serves as the headquarters of the Fantastic Four and was introduced into the MCU with The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

The Baxter Building is home to the team’s advanced technology, research facilities, and living spaces. Since the Fantastic Four are expected to cross over with the main MCU timeline, the building’s appearance suggests audiences may spend time in their universe before they join the larger fight.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has previously teased that the Baxter Building will have a much bigger role in Avengers: Doomsday, saying there will be “a heck of a lot more people in it” beyond just the Fantastic Four.

The final location shown in the marketing is Wakanda, the powerful African nation known for its vibranium technology and its connection to Black Panther. The new artwork highlights Wakanda’s massive cities and futuristic design, hinting that the country could once again become a major battlefield.

Wakanda played a crucial role in Avengers: Infinity War, and it could return to the center of the action in Doomsday. The story may also explore the alliance between Wakanda and Talokan following the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Directed by the Russo Brothers, Avengers: Doomsday will feature Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom along with returning stars including Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Letitia Wright, Pedro Pascal, Paul Rudd, and many more. The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 18, 2026.
