A new gag reel for Marvel’s Fantastic Four: First Steps has just been released, giving fans a fun look behind the scenes.

The video shows stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Joseph Quinn, and other cast members laughing and breaking character during filming. Entertainment Weekly shared the clip as part of the movie’s upcoming home release celebration.

The film, directed by Matt Shakman, hit theaters in the U.S. this past July. It follows the superhero team the Fantastic Four as they face the planet-devouring cosmic being Galactus in a 1960s retro-futuristic world.

Pascal plays Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Kirby is Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Moss-Bachrach is Ben Grimm/The Thing, and Quinn takes on Johnny Storm/Human Torch.

Marvel’s Fantastic Four: First Steps will be available on digital platforms starting September 23. Physical copies on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD will arrive on October 14.

This new Fantastic Four movie is the 37th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the second reboot of the Fantastic Four series.

Unlike previous adaptations, it skips the team’s origin story. Production began after Disney acquired the franchise in 2019, with Matt Shakman eventually taking over directing duties. The script was written by Josh Friedman, Eric Pearson, and the team of Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer. Filming took place from July to November 2024 at Pinewood Studios in England and on location in England and Spain.

The movie premiered at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles on July 21, and released widely in U.S. theaters on July 25. It has been well-received by critics and has grossed $518.9 million worldwide, making it the highest-grossing Fantastic Four film to date and the ninth-highest-grossing film of 2025. A sequel is already in development.

The gag reel gives fans a lighter side of the MCU experience, showing that even superheroes and their actors have fun on set. It’s a reminder of the camaraderie behind the big action scenes and special effects.
