McKenna Grace had a surprising reaction when she learned that her Regretting You co-star Scott Eastwood once starred in a Taylor Swift music video.

During a recent interview with AP News, Dave Franco and Mason Thames shared the story. They recalled watching Swift’s Wildest Dreams video on set, which featured Eastwood as her love interest.

“Scott, I don’t know if you know this, did anyone tell you that we all watched the ‘Wildest Dreams’ video on set?” Dave asked, to which Eastwood admitted he hadn’t realized it. Mason added, “I remember that! We all did.”

Dave explained that Grace had no idea Eastwood was in the video. “She immediately called her mom. She goes ‘Scott’s the guy.’ And we hear her mom through the phone go, ‘No!’ You have a place in a lot of people’s hearts with that video,” he said.

Eastwood also shared how the opportunity came about. “I’d never met Taylor Swift before. She called me out of the blue. She said, ‘Hey this is Taylor.’ I’m, like, Taylor who?” he recalled.

Mason Thames chimed in about his first impression of Eastwood: “I told Scott this the first day I met him, that I thought, before I knew him, from years in advance: best-looking man I’ve ever seen.”
