Megan Fox Throws Shade at Clone Theories While Slaying Instagram in Lingerie
Megan Fox recently shut down a bizarre rumor about her being cloned after sharing a series of sultry photos on Instagram. On March 3, the Transformers star returned to social media with images of herself in a black cropped T-shirt and matching G-string thong, captioning them, “I’m alive. New pics just dropped.”
Fans quickly noticed, but one user jokingly suggested the photos weren’t real, commenting, “This isn’t Megan. This is a Clone.” Megan responded with her signature wit, writing, “B**** a clone could never,” as reported by CommentsByCelebs.
The Instagram post didn’t just attract conspiracy theorists. Her ex, Machine Gun Kelly, also commented playfully, “Stoked I have your phone number.”
The two share 14-month-old daughter Saga Blade, who was born just months after they ended their romantic relationship in September 2024. MGK, who also has 16-year-old daughter Casie with ex Emma Cannon, recently praised Megan as a co-parent. “It truly was an epic story of love, pain and a lot of magic. I had it with a person who is the greatest partner, the greatest partner to have had a child with,” he said during an interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show in September 2025.
Megan’s blended family also includes her three older children with ex-husband Brian Austin Green: Noah, 13, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 9. She previously told People that her kids are excited to help care for their baby sister, saying, “The kids are all super excited for another addition to the family and have promised to help out and pitch in.”
Brian Austin Green has moved on as well, finding love with his Dancing with the Stars partner Sharna Burgess. The couple welcomed their son Zane in 2022 and announced their engagement last year. Meanwhile, MGK continues to co-parent with Megan while navigating his own family life.
Megan has also spoken openly about the challenges of co-parenting, admitting to Glamour UK in 2022, “It’s hard to not feel obligated to be with them all the time or to constantly feel like I’m not doing a good enough job, but I’m also separated from their father. So, I can only have them half of the time. That just is what it is.”
Megan’s Instagram return shows she’s confidently embracing her life, her career, and her family, all while handling wild rumors with humor. It’s clear that no conspiracy theory can overshadow her presence or her role as a mother.
Megan’s response to the clone rumors was perfect, funny, bold, and completely her. Her Instagram post proves she can handle both attention and absurd claims with confidence. What do you think about Megan shutting down the clone theories? Share your thoughts in the comments.
