Megyn Kelly has seen it all during her years as a TV journalist, but not every celebrity encounter has been pleasant. In a recent interview with the Daily Mail, the 55-year-old broadcaster opened up about some of the stars who left her less-than-fond memories.

Kelly, who built her career at Fox News before moving to NBC and now hosts her own podcast and a Sirius XM talk show, didn’t hold back when asked which celebrities she found difficult. She named Jane Fonda as the one who stood out the most.

“She was offended that I wasn’t steering her there. She really wanted to talk about their s** scenes,” Kelly recalled, referring to a 2017 interview with Fonda and Robert Redford about their film Our Souls at Night.

According to Kelly, Redford’s team requested she avoid questions about their intimate scenes, so she turned the conversation toward Fonda’s rumored facelift instead, an approach that clearly upset the actress.

Kelly also called out Bruce Willis, describing her 2006 encounter with the actor as challenging. “He came on and was just so clearly unhappy to be there. Usually people have some give. He didn’t. At all,” she said.

Kelly added that the actor’s demeanor felt “so ungiving, so ungenerous.” She acknowledged Willis’ current health struggles but noted at the time, his behavior made him a tough interview subject.

The broadcaster’s comments reveal that while celebrities may dazzle on-screen, some interactions behind the scenes can be tense or frustrating, even for seasoned journalists like Kelly.
