Michael B. Jordan Announces New ‘Creed’ TV Series Focusing on Adonis’ Daughter
Michael B. Jordan has confirmed that the Creed franchise is expanding, both on the big screen and in television. While fans are eagerly waiting for Creed IV, Jordan revealed that the story will continue in new ways, including a spin-off series focused on Adonis Creed’s daughter, Amara.
The show has been picked up by Amazon and will explore her journey within the “Creed-verse,” a term Jordan uses for the franchise’s growing universe.
Speaking about Creed IV, Jordan told ScreenRant Plus that the movie is definitely coming. “Eventually, definitely. It’s a franchise that’s been really kind to me in a big way,” he said. He explained that while he doesn’t plan to keep boxing on screen for decades, there are still interesting stories and characters to explore.
“I still might be able to get a couple of really good swings at the franchise a bit more,” he added.
Jordan emphasized that the spin-offs and new projects will help the franchise continue without relying solely on him as a boxer. “These little IPs are going to keep the universe alive without it being completely reliant on just me to push it through the finish line every time as a boxer. I’ll be adjacent,” he said.
The actor first confirmed Creed IV in February 2023, saying the fourth film was happening “for sure” while hinting at potential spin-offs. In November 2023, producer Irwin Winkler confirmed the project was in active development, with Jordan returning as director.
Jordan has also expressed interest in Sylvester Stallone reprising his role as Rocky and has said he hopes to work with Jonathan Majors again. In March 2025, he told The Hollywood Reporter, “I would love to make Creed IV together — among other projects.”
Jordan said the franchise will continue to grow, with more of the characters fans already love, along with new ones he wants to introduce. He described the expanding story world as a way to keep the series fresh while giving fans multiple ways to connect with the Creed universe.
