Michael B. Jordan Celebrates Oscars Win with Surprise In-N-Out Visit, Fans Go Wild
Michael B. Jordan gave fans an unforgettable surprise on Sunday night when he stopped by an In-N-Out Burger in Los Angeles shortly after winning the Academy Award for Best Lead Actor, according to Los Angeles Times.
Jordan, who took home the Oscar for his role as twins Smoke and Stack in Sinners, visited a regular In-N-Out location instead of the more exclusive spots typically frequented by celebrities at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
Video from the outing shows him posing for fans, signing an In-N-Out hat for an employee, and sitting down to enjoy a double-double with cheese and fries. TMZ reported that fans even stood on tables to catch a better view of the newly minted Oscar winner. Jordan made a quick exit after a few bites.

The burger run came after he attended the Governors Ball, where he had his Oscar engraved. For the Vanity Fair party that followed, he changed from his black tuxedo into a brown double-breasted suit with a white shirt and black tie.

Jordan’s Oscar win marked his first nomination, a major milestone in his career that began around the year 2000. He was up against other lead actor nominees, including Timothée Chalamet, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ethan Hawke, and Wagner Moura. His victory followed a surprise upset at the Actor Awards, formerly known as the SAG Awards.

“Sinners” led the Oscars with 16 nominations and walked away with four wins. In addition to Jordan’s Best Lead Actor award, Ryan Coogler won for Original Screenplay, Autumn Durald Arkapaw made history as the first woman to win for Cinematography, and Ludwig Göransson earned the award for Best Score.
It’s refreshing to see Michael B. Jordan celebrate such a huge career moment in a fun, down-to-earth way. Going to a casual burger spot and interacting with fans shows he appreciates the support of the public. Would you have gone to see him if you were at that In-N-Out?
