Michael B. Jordan is celebrating a major career milestone after winning the Best Actor Oscar at the 98th Academy Awards. He earned the award for his dual performance in the film Sinners, marking one of the biggest moments of his career so far.

The win also places him in a very small group in Oscar history. Only a handful of Black actors have ever taken home the Best Actor prize, and Jordan now stands alongside names like Sidney Poitier, Denzel Washington, and Halle Berry as part of that legacy.

After the ceremony, Jordan chose a very simple way to celebrate. Instead of a private party or formal event, he went to In-N-Out Burger to grab a late-night meal.

A video shared on YouTube showed Jordan arriving at the restaurant with his Oscar. He was seen signing autographs, taking photos with fans, and smiling while staff and customers watched the moment unfold. Several trays of burgers and fries were placed on the counter as he waited for his order.

The clip quickly spread online because of how relaxed the scene looked. Even with an Academy Award in hand, Jordan appeared comfortable and casual, treating it like a normal night out.

In-N-Out itself has a long history of celebrity visitors. The chain is known for attracting big names from entertainment and sports. Figures like Gordon Ramsay, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle have also been reported fans of the popular burger spot.

The appeal of the restaurant is often linked to its simple menu and focus on quality. The company was built around a clear idea from its founder Harry Snyder, who once said, “Keep it simple; do one thing, and do it the best you can,” according to NPR.

That philosophy is still a big part of why the brand remains popular today, especially in California and other parts of the West Coast.

Jordan’s exact order was not confirmed in the video, but the footage clearly showed multiple burgers and fries being prepared during his visit. Fans online pointed out how relatable the moment felt, with an Oscar winner choosing a classic fast food stop after a major career win.
