Michael B. Jordan Turns Heads on the Red Carpet at the 2026 BAFTAs
Michael B. Jordan made a bold impression at the 2026 BAFTA Film Awards, marking his first appearance at the British ceremony. Known for his work in Hollywood hits, Jordan attended the event as a nominee for Best Leading Actor for his challenging dual role in Sinners, where he plays twins Elijah “Smoke” and Elias “Stack” Moore.

On the red carpet, Jordan opted for a classic all-black look, pairing a tailored suit with hoop earrings and a starburst diamond brooch. True to his words from a past interview, he usually dresses for comfort on set.
“I get on set first thing in the morning, I’m taking my clothes off and I’m putting on my wardrobe. At night, I’m taking the wardrobe off and putting on my clothes just to go back home. So I think a lot of times, [I dress] for comfort,” he explained.
For events like the BAFTAs, however, he embraces the chance to be more expressive in his style. “When I started going out more and doing [more] events, I found those opportunities to be a little bit more expressive.”
Jordan took the time to interact with fans near the red carpet, snapping selfies and sharing smiles as he arrived at the Royal Festival Hall. His nomination comes after a demanding year portraying two very different characters in the same body.
“The fact that they’re identical twins, it’s like leaning into two totally different personalities but being in the same body,” he told the Hollywood Reporter.
“It’s kind of hard to pick a favorite because you need one to complete the other because they’re not really complete by themselves. So Smoke, I’m partial to him in his journey throughout the movie of being a protector, wanting everybody to be safe, and being a provider in a real way. And then there’s the mischievous kind of dreamer that has Stack written all over it. That slick-talking charmer who kind of gets his way in and out of trouble.”
Jordan’s appearance at the BAFTAs highlights his growing influence not just as an actor but also as a fashion-forward presence on the red carpet. His dedication to his craft, coupled with his approachable personality with fans, makes him a standout at the awards ceremony.
